With a view toward fostering positive working relationships between the small business community, state and local entities, and the business community at large, MBDG serves as an advocate in contracting initiatives and a resource for the small business community.

We offer training to minority and women owned businesses in doing business with the State of Texas, cities and local entities.  It's important to become certified so that you may acquire proof of your minority status.  Government entities actively seek to incorporate minority and women owned businesses into their contracts.  Large companies also seek to sub-contract with with businesses.
